Because you aren't use to it, you give him stares like your afraid of "his intensity".

All of this really translates to he's creeper-staring you down and you aren't sure what to do when you two really should make out or touch each other and get it out of your system.

I tried that, and he still left! [blurts out before he bites his lip, blushing harder]

... You Earthlings really are weird. What did you do to make him leave?

Nothing! Why is it automatically my fault! He just wouldn't talk about why he was being so weird and walked out!

I can't tell you how to handle him. You probably know that better than I do. All I can say is explain things to him so he feels comfortable. He was worried he's failing his role in the relationship. He really wants to please you and make you happy.

That's dumb. [sighing and wishing he could flop back against the bed] He's not failing anything.

The way you react to things makes him feel that way.

Well, I dunno how to fix it! I'm not going to sit here and promise I'll never have a problem with stuff he does, but he's not failing.

He wasn't sure how to fix it either, but I think he knows what he's doing now ... maybe.

I guess I just wish he'd, y'know. Talk to me.

He-- It can be difficult.

[looks down for a minute, before he drags his eyes back up]

M'glad he has you, though. Y'know?

It can be difficult to say things to me as well and vice versa. [eying you back]

Yeah? Like what?

You really think he jut came in and told me everything? If he couldn't tell you in an understandable way, how can he to anyone else?

Oh. Well, that's just him sucking at talking, not him not wanting to tell you stuff.

[grins a little, nudging you with a foot]

I like that he's comfortable with you, okay?

It wasn't talking so much as it was "You can't deny Chiaki hasn't done that to you too"

You'll both figure it out. You still have five months until the vacation day you've earned.

[taking a few steps away]

Yeah, I guess. Just--y'know. I want it to work whether we get vacation time or not.

...thanks, though. For all that stuff. [wiggles his elbow a little, still wrapped in the sling] Even the embarrassing bits.

It's working. It's not going to start out perfect and be perfect.

[looking you over] Besides, there's nothing really embarrassing about any of this. I've seen you beat up worse, naked, dealt with you all over me for your own and for camp reasons, while Takeru is a person I can get along with and understand in .. what seems now nearly all areas. There's nothing embarrassing about any of it.

Hey! [nudges at you, laughing] Don't say I was all over you like it was some sort of huge problem! You were all over me too--you started it!

I guess I did.

'You guess,' huh.

[but his face is softening, and he looks a lot more relaxed than he did when you came in here]
