QUESTIONS MEME
Joe is at 5.2k & Eiji is at 1.5k
This means you get to ask me anything (because I'll never get around to it otherwise~! This can include relationships, personal questions, his thoughts, my thoughts, OTP's, What animal Eiji turns into, if Joe and Marvelous will ever do anything, Will Eiji actually touch any of the other Ryon's, Why is Gai Joe's type...... and things like that :|a I will ask questions back too.

In the past, with Basco, yeah. They could do things and he loved every minute of it! Being together, just hanging out even, it was the best time of his life for a long time. Because he just assumed that nothing would have to change, that they would always be that close, he never really thought about any other possibilities. So when Basco turned against them, it kind of fucked up a lot of perspectives! WHICH IS RELEVANT because how does I emotional commitments?
If it weren't Basco from the past, he'd be able to just deal with his blind anger. But it's ... the Basco that he adored and the one he thought the universe of? So it's super shitty to look at him and be reminded of all the good times and of the subsequent sudden but inevitable betrayal. Just being near Basco is a mess he doesn't want to deal with ever again, and that is not an option. He is physically uncomfortable with every encounter and the back and forth going on in his mind.
... which doesn't even factor in Joe's role in all of it. Because yes, he is the person in the universe that Marvelous trusts the most, and the only person he trusts with his back. If he compared the two, he knows that the bond with Joe is stronger, because there have never really been lies between them. There was never any holding back.
Dealing with camp and feelings is TERRIBLE and he DISLIKES IT GREATLY and being able to say "kay yes I like you more than I did before" really did help! Even if that conversation went nowhere. Because it was just OUT THERE and bottling things up is not a thing Marvelous can really do. His heart is on his sleeve and all. Joe knows there are feelings, that is what matters, he doesn't mind what comes next (so long as Basco isn't being physical).
So from one side, he's being tormented by the person he used to care for the most, and on the other side it's the person he respects and trusts the most, and everything is pain and nothing is magic. He doesn't want them even in the same room, because he knows better than anyone else what Basco is capable of and how he can twist feelings and emotions around.
SO IT SUCKS AND IT'S STUPID AND just let's not engage, sleepin in your bed again to forget his ugly face (which is less ugly when he doesn't want to kill me openly).
THAT WAS A LOT
Joe on having feeeeeeellllls

Canonly, he only recently saved Sid, and with saving him, he may have ended that, but he doesn't feel like it's truly over. Sid is still on his mind a lot and the ways that everything ended up, he'll probably remain on his mind, and this will cripple his ability to reasonably handle ALL THE FEELS. It's a lot like what he told Marvelous and Takeru. No matter what he thinks he want or thinks he wants to go after, the thoughts of Sid that still remain with him hold him back. Until he can sort those out and be comfortable with everything, he's not really going to be the best at any type of feels.
Speaking of... He does have Marvelous feels. He knows very well he has Marvelous feels, but there's been nothing yet that's proved to him that there's a point in doing anything about it or caring that there's something he SHOULD be doing. Even if they did something about it, he's not entirely sure anything would change so what's the point? He doesn't want anything to change. Sure, it might be vindicating to say "I have feels for you" ... but what would the point be?
Also, has this entire thing with Chiaki with makes him all sorts of confused, worried and .... he just doesn't know. He's not particularly worried about having to choose or leave one behind. He's more thinking of the fact that his position in all of this is going to keep Chiaki from doing or anything anything he truly wants. He's told Chiaki he's fully able to do and figure out what he wants to do on his own and he means that. Over all with Chiaki, he thinks Earthing's are overly complicated and confusing and between them both he knows full well while he doesn't normally concern himself with things like this.
Where are your feels the most, Marvelous? Besides Joe.

Though if you mean people, who can say. He cares for his whole crew and he wants to protect them, though he knows good and well that none of them want for him to do that (He is still doing it though. Fuck not doing it). NONE OF YOU ARE ALLOWED TO DIE or be injured critically, not so long as he can prevent it. Papa bear...
Joe's favorite aspect of camp?
